Church Services

What Can I Expect at a Church Service?

Our services are welcoming and open to everyone. Visitors are warmly received and are never singled out or expected to participate. We strive to maintain a loving and supportive atmosphere, approaching every service as an opportunity for spiritual inspiration and healing.

Sunday Services

The Sunday sermon consists of readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Christian Science churches throughout the world study the same weekly Bible Lesson, while each local church selects its own hymns, music, opening Scriptural reading, and closing benediction.

Christian Science churches have two pastors: the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. The sermon is read directly from these two books, allowing the congregation to hear and consider the message together.

Sunday Services are held in the church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday Testimony Meetings

Our Wednesday testimony meeting offers a refreshing midweek opportunity for prayer, inspiration, and fellowship. The service includes hymns, the Lord’s Prayer, and readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. The readings are selected by the Reader around a timely spiritual theme and speak to the needs of daily life.

During the second half of the meeting, members of the congregation may share gratitude, spiritual insights, and experiences of healing and guidance through prayer. Everyone is warmly welcome to attend, whether or not you choose to share.

Wednesday Testimony Meetings are held from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

This is a hybrid service. You may attend in person in the Reading Room on the church property or join online through Zoom.
